WHAT IS THE STEPHEN BARTELS GALLERY? The Stephen Bartels Gallery is a unique photographic gallery located in London, England showcasing amazing, contempory photographs captured by member photographers using Leica cameras.
WHO ARE THE MEMBER PHOTOGRAPHERS? Our members are carefully selected established and emerging Leica photographers from throughout the world.
HOW ARE THE PHOTOGRAPHS DISPLAYED? The gallery uses large high definition screens to create a stunning exhibition of these contemporary photographs.
Member photographers are able to update their work on a monthly basis from anywhere in the world which means visitors to the gallery are treated to a dynamic new set of photographs on a regular basis.
WHY LEICA CAMERAS? A Leica photograph is different. Some say the reason for this is due to the quality of the camera and the lenses, others say it is because of the way a Leica camera makes a photographer think. Whether or not this is true can ultimately only be seen in the quality of the photographs and so we invite you to come to the gallery and judge for yourself.
If you are a lover of great photography, whether it be Leica photography or indeed any photography you will thoroughly enjoy your visit to the Stephen Bartels Gallery, leave with a buzz of inspiration and, if you like, you can even order a print of your favourite photograph.
CAN I BUY PRINTS? Prints are available on request so if you see a photograph that particularly connects with you or you think would be a suitable gift then let us know and we can arrange for a high quality print to be prepared.
